Friday: Midsummer Night's Dream
Monday: Poetry with Ms. Joy
The first thing Ms. Joy did when we came in was write a compliment about ourselves on a piece of blue index card. Then she reminded us of the homework assignment which was to choose a favorite song, write down the lyrics and why you like it, how it makes you feel.
Then she said today we would be talking about love... we talked about things like commercials and movies and how they think we should show love: usually through material items like diamonds or candy. Then she passed out beads and we traded them as we gave one another compliments. We made bracelets with the beads and write homage poems for people we care about. Joy took pictures of each of us too.
We finished our poems and wrote something motivational on another pink index card.
That was all for today.
