Heeey this is Layla Akita and right now Ms. Nakada is reading tips from high school students telling us advice for being a freshman. I'm going to let someone else type so byyyeee:)
Heyyy its Denisha well this is my last blog and i'm feeling kind of sad that we are going to be leaving this school and going on to high school. everything happen so fast -___- but I'm going to miss Ms. Nakada. Well, I'm typing too much so byeeee!!!!!
Wassssuuup??!!!!! It's Akilah. Well, its the last day of doing work in Ms. Nakada's class and I think I'm gonna cry because idk when I'm gonna see my friends again and it won't be the same...anyways gtg n imma miss Emerson!!!!!
heylo its kaid and sadly its the last day:( . . . . . we have all had hard times in this class but we all came through and helped each other once when its was needed soo thank u everyone and Ms. Nakada you are a great teacher . . . P.S. have fun next year XD 2014 8TH GRADE IS THE BEST:D!!!!

Right now some people are taking a survey and others are completing their letters to themselves. Bryan keeps throwing paper to the trash and it's getting annoying. Today in Ms. Nakada's Class , We went over our Notes from yesterday on how expensive life can be.
Then Ms. Nakada went over different kind of studies , and Explained how each one work . After Ms. Nakada asked us to think about three College's , she asked if we had any hesitations . She chose on some people and then gave them some edvice . Ms. Nakada talked about College , She asked us questions like if we wanted to study for 2 or 4 years , What GPA you needed , Do we wanna stay in California ? Or Experience some other place . Ms. Nakada mentioned that is we wanted to go study out of California that it would be twice expensive then where you are now . Then we all go to work .

Today we had wrote down our agenda in our binder reminder as usual. Ms. Nakada had then read us a poem called "Albuelito Who", she had then read it again. She asked us "What is the author doing in this poem?" Some students started to notice that there were some repetition and rhyming. Then she had told us to write a poem about our mother for Mother's day this Sunday. Everyone started to talk instead of doing their work but after a while people were starting to get quiet and getting started on their poems for their mom. Ms. Nakada had then said that she will read us a little bit of the book called "Because of Winn Dixie". She had us then list 10 things you like about someone, you hate about... She just saying 10 things about anything.

Everyone got new seats and Asael read the blog. Then everyone took out a piece of notebook paper to write their Poetry Gallery Walk ICE assignment. We had to identify a theme in our own collection and cite evidence and then explain it. Then we did a gallery walk and had to do the same thing for someone else's collection. Then we had an Open Mic where Akilah, Josh, Wilbert, Layla, Denisha, and Ivette read their poems.

Ms. Nakada told the class that whoever didn't do their poems had to go to the left side of the room and the people who didn't do their blog had to go to the right side of the room and write their poems. The right side of the room started to write on their poems. After a while, the left side of the room had to do a gallery walk. They started walking around looking at each others poems. The bell rings. BYE.
